The new corporate campaign seeks to faithfully express Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro’s passion for responsible wine consumption, from the vineyard to the glass that reaches its consumers.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Due to Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro is the main wine producer in Latin America and the fourth in the world, it understands that the promotion of Responsible Consumption is an essential element and a necessary value to consolidate its leadership at a global level, as well as being a fundamental part of their commitment to the present and future society.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the guidelines of its new corporate Responsible Consumption campaign is to inform and educate its workers, customers and suppliers around the world about moderate wine consumption, through recommendations and relevant information on what is the correct measure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Know your measure<\/b><\/p>\n

Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro has established a standard serving of 100 ml for red, white or sparkling wine. The most common serving measure in restaurants and bars is 150 ml, so it is very important to know what your measure is and enjoy it responsibly. The World Health Organization (WHO) and Wine in Moderation stipulate the measurement through the \u201cStandard Drink\u201d, which contains approximately 10 grams of pure alcohol (which may vary depending on the alcohol concentration of your drink, and the amount served in your glass). By knowing how many standard drinks you have consumed, the amount of pure alcohol that you have ingested can be measured and, based on that, you can estimate how long it will take to be fully eliminated from your body.<\/span><\/p>\n

General recommendations<\/b><\/p>\n

It is important to know that when it comes to drinking a glass of wine, each body reacts differently, this is because there are different factors that influence the alcohol absorption within the body. Among them, we can mention age, physical condition, speed of consumption or combination of alcoholic beverages.<\/span><\/p>\n
