With a view to a sustainable future, six new photovoltaic plants have been implemented in different estates of the company in Chile.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to continue with the company’s sustainable actions towards a sustainable future, photovoltaic plants have been built or started to be built in six of the company’s estates.<\/p>\n

Together, the plants installed will generate a power of 3,225 KWp by means of 6,638 panels installed on 15,528 m2. The one with the largest construction of these plants is the Cachapoal Estate, which has 5,956 m2 and 2,696 panels.<\/p>\n

The two plants already installed are in Chimbarongo, both in the Concha y Toro and Cono Sur facilities. In Fundo Lourdes, the plant is in white run with a projected power of 283 KWp.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 831 m2 of panels with a projected power of 180 KWp are being installed at Fundo Nueva Aurora. Finally, in Lontu\u00e9, construction is beginning on more than 2,800 m2 of panels.<\/p>\n

“Energy efficiency has become an active pillar of our company’s strategy. To meet the growing demand for energy and the challenge of reducing our CO2 emissions, we have developed an electricity generation program using photovoltaic panels, which also seeks to identify and manage all the opportunities for energy savings in our operations. One of our missions as a company is to respond to the challenge of making the energy we use cleaner, more economical and safer every day,” says Eduardo Hormaz\u00e1bal, Engineering and Projects Manager of Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro.<\/p>\n

With the construction of these six new plants, the company expects to reach 20% of the total energy required for the operations where the plants are located.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
