According to the results of the assessment, the best performing areas were Environment and Customers, highlighting water management in the company\u2019s vineyards, wineries and production plants.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The evaluation highlights water management in vineyards, wine cellars and production plants and performance in the areas of Governance, Environment and Customers.<\/p>\n

After an arduous evaluation process, Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro achieved the re-certification as a B Corporation, which recognizes those companies that meet high standards of environmental, governance and social performance.<\/p>\n

Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro joined the global B Corp community for the first time in 2021, becoming the first Chilean company listed on the stock exchange to obtain this certification. The production subsidiaries that were recertified are Concha y Toro (Chile), Vi\u00f1a Cono Sur (Chile) and Bodega Trivento (Argentina). Bonterra Organic Estates (United States) was recertified in 2021.<\/p>\n

This year, the group obtained 93.9 points in the impact assessment B, 12.5 points more than in 2021.”Three years later, we are reaffirming our commitment to positive impact and our transparency regarding our company’s sustainability management. The score obtained demonstrates our progress on the road to becoming a benchmark in building a sustainable business model and a better future,” said Eduardo Guilisasti, CEO of Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the results of the assessment, the best performing areas were Environment and Customers, highlighting water management in the company’s vineyards, wineries and production plants.<\/p>\n

The assessment highlighted Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro’s water management in the drought complex scenario, recognizing the efforts of the company’s Agricultural Management to manage these risks, ensuring water supply in all seasons and producing high quality grapes through technology, increased water storage capacity and optimized irrigation planning, among other measures. In the case of water use in production plants and wineries, the company emphasized efficient consumption through the sanitization of water, which is then returned to the water courses.<\/p>\n

This recertification is another step in the company’s Sustainability Strategy “Uncork a Better Future”, which seeks to generate positive impacts for its stakeholders.<\/p>\n
