The renowned wine critic rated the 2021 vintage of the iconic Cabernet Sauvignon with an outstanding 18+ points and described it as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Quite simply on pouring there is a fragrance of ripe, characteristic and certainly not overdone fruit. This is a glorious blend of fully ripe Cabernet, which is very much at home in Chile&#8217;s premier Cabernet area, just outside Santiago. There is that special stony mineral character of this vineyard in abundance, but the fruit overwhelms it and there is a beautiful lift on the palate. Winemaker Enrique Tirado and consultant winemaker Eric Boissenot must be very excited about this very special vintage. It&#8217;s already lovely, but based on that 2019 vertical tasting, I would expect it to have a very long life. The velvety tannins are still in abundance.
