The Chilean company moved up two spots in the global ranking by value from IWSR, driven by its successful premium brand strategy.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro has reached a new milestone in its more than 140-year history by positioning itself as the world\u2019s third-largest wine company by value, according to data from the specialized consulting firm IWSR for the end of 2025. This two-position rise compared to the previous year consolidates the Chilean firm\u2019s place on the global industry podium, while in terms of volume, it managed to maintain a solid fourth place worldwide.<\/p>\n

This historic performance is the result of the premiumization strategy the company has vigorously pursued since 2017, designed to strengthen its higher-value portfolio and ensure sustainable profitability. As a result of this approach, 57% of the company\u2019s wine sales revenue currently comes from its premium and higher-end segments, with a cumulative 47% growth in revenue from these categories between 2017 and 2025\u2014a period during which the company has also recorded continuous sales growth in 23 of the last 25 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis recognition confirms that the strategy we have been pursuing is on the right track. Our progress toward a higher-value portfolio, combined with the strength of our brands, a unique global distribution network, and an integrated business model, allows us to continue growing sustainably and consolidate our position as one of the industry\u2019s leading players worldwide,\u201d said Eduardo Guilisasti, the company\u2019s CEO.<\/p>\n

Vi\u00f1a Concha y Toro\u2019s global strength is underpinned by a multi-origin operation\u2014with production in Chile, Argentina, the United States, Mexico, and France\u2014and a distribution network, both proprietary and through third parties, present in more than 130 countries. Its portfolio features globally recognized brands such as Casillero del Diablo; Don Melchor, named the world\u2019s No. 1 wine by Wine Spectator; Trivento, the world\u2019s best-selling Argentine brand; and Bonterra, a leader in the organic segment in the U.S. All of this is supported by a vertically integrated model and nearly 13,000 hectares of vineyards that ensure total quality control from the source to capture new consumer trends.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
