Tim Atkin awards outstanding scores to Viña Concha y Toro wines
The renowned British critic and Master of Wine released a preview of his 2022 report on Chilean wines, in which he awarded outstanding scores to wines produced by Viña Concha y Toro’s subsidiaries Concha y Toro and Don Melchor.
In what has become an annual tradition, British wine critic Tim Atkin visited Chile in December 2021 to taste more than 1,000 wines from the country’s leading wineries. This week, Atkin revealed his scores for the wines that will be included in his Chile report, highlighting several Viña Concha y Toro brands, in particular from Concha y Toro and Don Melchor.
Tim Atkin awarded the following scores to two subsidiaries’ icon wines: Don Melchor 2019, 97 points and Carmín de Peumo 2019, 95 points.
