Viña Concha y Toro’s Luxury Brands portfolio stood out with great scores this first half of the year in the Top Global Media, demonstrating once again our extraordinary winemaking consistency. During the first half of the year, the Luxury Brands Division wines scored 48 out of 92 points in the three origins. Here are some highlights:
Don Melchor obtained outstanding recognitions such as: the only Chilean wine to receive 96 points five times (Wine Spectator). Carmín de Peumo stood out with Top 1 Carmenere from Chile for the 2021 vintage in various reports. Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2021 was recognized as the highest score since its launch in Wine Spectator, among others.
In Argentina, through Bodega Trivento, Eolo Trivento Malbec in its 2019 vintage scored 94 points in Wine Enthusiast. The 2020 Vintage stood out with 95 points in Decanter and finally the 2021 Vintage was awarded 96 points by James Suckling and 95 points by Tim Atkin. Additionally, Trivento Stratus 2021 was awarded 96 points by Tim Atkin and 94 points by James Suckling.
Finally, Bonterra Organic Estates also scored highly with The Butler 2020, with a silver medal at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition. In the same competition, The McNab 2020 took the gold medal. The Roost 2022 earned 93 points in Wine Enthusiast and a gold medal at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition.
