Zekun Shuai, senior editor of the renowned media James Suckling, visited our facilities in Pirque to taste the new vintages of the company’s wine portfolio.

Zekun Shuai, senior editor of the prestigious US media James Suckling, is currently in Chile to taste the new vintages that will be part of the Chile 2025 Report.

On this occasion, Concha y Toro winemakers Marcio Ramírez and Isabel Mitarakis led an exclusive tasting of our brands Carmín de Peumo, Amelia, Terrunyo, The Master and Marques de Casa Concha.

The specialized journalist then went to Casa Don Melchor, located in Pirque, to taste the new vintage of the iconic Don Melchor.

Enrique Tirado, CEO and Technical Director of Viña Don Melchor, led the tasting and personally presented the 2023 vintage of Don Melchor. This new vintage is composed of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Merlot. This new vintage of Don Melchor stands out for its unique intensity and finesse, characteristics of its origin in the Don Melchor Vineyard, located in the prestigious Puente Alto appellation.

The event was an excellent opportunity to show Zekun the exceptional qualities of our wines and the great diversity of Viña Concha y Toro’s origins throughout Chile.
