Viña Concha y Toro supports early childhood education across its communities
The Pedagogical Transfer Program, implemented through Fundación Educacional Choshuenco, benefited 44 early childhood education centers and 3,733 girls and boys, providing technical support, teaching materials, and training for educational teams.
For the past four years, Viña Concha y Toro has promoted dedicated work in early childhood education alongside Fundación Choshuenco, with the aim of strengthening educational environments and providing concrete tools to children, families, and pedagogical teams in the communities of Molina, Colchagua, Pirque, and, as of this year, Puente Alto.
During this year, the Pedagogical Transfer Program expanded from 24 to 44 early childhood centers, following the incorporation of Puente Alto. As a result, 3,733 children benefited through technical assistance, the delivery of educational materials, and ongoing training for more than 500 members of educational teams, promoting a comprehensive approach to child development and strengthening ties with families.
One of the core pillars of the foundation’s work is the strengthening of family participation within educational settings. This commitment is reflected in the Family Centers, an initiative designed to create dedicated spaces for play, reading, and collaborative work among children, caregivers, and pedagogical teams.
By the end of 2025, 24 Family Centers had been established in early childhood centers across Pirque, Colchagua, and Molina, equipped with educational materials, books, and a welcoming environment that encourages mothers, fathers, and caregivers to actively engage in the educational process, reinforcing their role as first educators and strengthening bonds within each community.
José Manuel Jaramillo, Director of Fundación Choshuenco, highlights: “This year, 2025, reaffirms the strength of the collaborative work we have built together with Viña Concha y Toro. All of these communities are key to the company’s operations, and this partnership allows us to contribute to its community engagement and relationships, adding value to its social commitment. What we have achieved together shows that when institutions come together with a shared purpose, the impact on educational communities is multiplied.”
The work carried out in 2025 made it possible to consolidate this alliance and lay the foundations for a new stage, which will continue to bear fruit in the coming years, reaffirming Viña Concha y Toro’s commitment to social development, early childhood education, and the strengthening of the communities where it operates.
