Concha y Toro to Celebrate Chilean Wine Throughout September with New Experiences in Pirque

Throughout September, the Concha y Toro Centro del Vino invites Chileans and tourists alike to celebrate Chilean wine with sommelier-led tastings, daily toasts, special discounts, gastronomy, art, and a new experience to enjoy the sunsets of the Maipo Valley.

With the arrival of Chile’s Month of National Traditions, the Concha y Toro Centro del Vino is the ideal place to experience and celebrate Chilean culture through wine. Located just 20 kilometers from Santiago, this world-class wine tourism destination will offer activities throughout September specially designed to connect visitors with the country’s rich cultural, historical, and gastronomic heritage.

As part of the celebration, guests visiting the Centro del Vino can enjoy the traditional Wine O’Clock every day at 4:30 p.m., featuring a celebratory toast with a glass of Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon Gold. In addition, the Centro del Vino’s wine shop will offer a 30% discount on all Cabernet Sauvignon wines (excluding icon wines).

These initiatives are complemented by an ongoing 20% discount on selected experiences when paying with Visa cards, valid for the purchase of up to two tickets per card.

At Bodega 1883, the Centro del Vino’s restaurant, visitors can also enjoy a glass of The Master, an iconic Cabernet Sauvignon that represents the finest expression of the Maipo Valley, bringing together in a refined blend the distinctive qualities of the historic El Mariscal and Pirque Viejo vineyards.

Celebrating Cabernet Sauvignon and Chilean Wine

Special activities will begin on Thursday, September 3, in celebration of International Cabernet Sauvignon Day, a varietal that has found in Chile one of its most outstanding expressions worldwide. On this occasion, sommelier Jazmín Adriazola will lead a guided tasting of Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon Gold at the Concha y Toro Grand Wine Bar between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The following day, on Friday, September 4, Concha y Toro Centro del Vino will celebrate Chilean Wine Day with a special experience created for its visitors. Guests who book the Premium Tour will be welcomed with a traditional Chilean empanada paired with house wines. In addition, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Jazmín Adriazola will host another guided tasting at the Grand Wine Bar, this time featuring The Master, one of the finest expressions of Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

A New Experience for Spring Evenings

Beginning in September, the new Diablo Wine Sunset experience will be available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Guests will be invited to enjoy the sunsets of Pirque from the Concha y Toro Lookout. The experience includes live music by a DJ, a curated selection of wines, and a cheese-pairing menu, all set within a privileged space designed to showcase the landscape and the setting sun.

Art, Territory, and Heritage

September’s program also invites visitors to discover “Al río Maipo”, a new art installation by renowned Chilean artist Clemente McKay, located in Plaza Concha y Toro. The work offers an interactive experience that connects visitors with the memory, heritage, and cultural and natural significance of the Maipo River, a fundamental element in the history of the valley’s winegrowing tradition.
