Viña Concha y Toro participates in the Nikkei Global Management Forum
This year, Viña Concha y Toro was invited to participate in the 21st Nikkei Global Management Forum (NGMF), a major global business forum held every year in Tokyo, Japan. This event brings together senior executives from various industries on a global level to analyze corporate strategies and the latest trends in business management.
This year, managers and directors from global companies such as Nestlé, McDonald’s, Twitter and Montblanc participated, and for the first time two Latin American companies—Viña Concha y Toro and La Martina—were included.
The company was represented by its Corporate Export Manager, Cristián López, who, through the success case of Casillero del Diablo in the United Kingdom, outlined the challenges in mature markets for the wine industry, and Viña Concha y Toro’s strategy to reach these consumers. Cristián López also participated in the panel on “How to dominate the developed markets and move forward to Asia – Challenge from South America”. “For the company it is a privilege to participate in this international event that has a history of 21
years and that brings together large companies. Being invited is undoubtedly another example of the excellence and reputation that Viña Concha y Toro has in the world today”, says Cristián.
