Viña Concha y Toro receives Sustainability Recognition from british magazine

The company was recognized by the specialized publication The Drinks Business for its focus on large-scale regenerative practices in vineyards and native forests.

Viña Concha y Toro received the Amorim Sustainability Award at the 2025 Drinks Business Green Awards, one of the wine industry’s most prestigious environmental honors. The jury highlighted the company’s “broad, consistent, and impact-oriented” model, emphasizing its ability to adapt environmental management to the territories and climates in which it operates.

The award acknowledges the implementation of the Regenerative Practices Standard across 100% of the land managed by the company—10,928 hectares of vineyards and 4,272 hectares of native forests—with a focus on soil, carbon sequestration, biodiversity, and ecological restoration. According to the Drinks Business jury, Viña Concha y Toro “is leading the way toward a more sustainable future” and “setting a benchmark for the global industry by demonstrating how a well-executed regenerative strategy can transform productive ecosystems.”

In this context, Valentina Lira, Corporate Sustainability Manager at Viña Concha y Toro, emphasized that “this achievement reaffirms our commitment to winemaking that restores and protects nature. It is a concrete example of the impact we can generate when sustainability is a strategic pillar, and it motivates us to continue deepening a regenerative vision that is already transforming the way we produce and care for our lands.”

Viña Concha y Toro will continue advancing its research and monitoring of ecosystems, soils, and biodiversity, strengthening a model that not only reduces impacts but also promotes the active regeneration of the natural systems in which it operates.
