Trivento celebrated its 25th anniversary
This year the Argentine subsidiary of Viña Concha y Toro commemorated its 25 years of history, milestones and achievements by filling glasses around the world.
Trivento -the Argentine winery of Viña Concha y Toro- celebrated its first 25 years of history, a period in which it has consolidated its position as the leading Argentinean wine brand globally, and is at the forefront in areas such as wine quality and sustainable development.
In the year of its 25th anniversary, Trivento became a Certified B Corporation, and acquired a new wine cellar with a vineyard and a chalet located in Luján de Cuyo. It also certified its wines with the Vegan Society, the world’s oldest vegan organization, and has consolidated its global leadership as the top-selling Argentinean wine brand.
“Our first 25 years make us dream big. Our ambition is to be the most admired Argentinean wine brand with a strong position in the most competitive markets, and to deliver value to our customers and consumers”, said Trivento’s CEO, Marcos Jofré, during the celebration.
25 years filling glasses around the world
When Trivento began its activities in 1996, it had a 2 million-liter winery and a 154-hectare farm called Los Vientos, both located in the Mendoza town of Maipú. Today, after 25 years of history, it has a capacity of 54 million liters and 1,657 of its own hectares located mainly in the regions of Maipú, Luján de Cuyo and Valle de Uco, all in Mendoza.
The winery closed in 2020 with total sales at US$63.19 million representing a volume of 3.3 million 9-litre cases, which allowed it to consolidate itself as the world leader in Argentine wine sales. Its Trivento Reserve range exceeded the threshold of one million cases sold in the world, to which it is added that Trivento has maintained its leadership in the TOP 5 of Argentine exporting wineries 10 years ago.
“Trivento’s achievements are the result of the combined efforts of many people who form part of the winery. We are making major strides thanks to this excellent team, who I urge to remain steadfast in their endeavor to position Trivento as an iconic player in the global wine industry”, added Eduardo Guilisasti.
