This activity marked a milestone a few days before the start of the Pan American and Parapan American Games Santiago 2023, where Casillero del Diablo is a legendary sponsor of the event.

The Pan American Torch made part of its journey at the Concha y Toro Tourist Center in Pirque, as part of the preparations for the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games, thanks to Casillero del Diablo, Viña Concha y Toro’s main brand and sponsor of the sporting event.

The activity was attended by representatives of Viña Concha y Toro, Santiago 2023 relays and authorities such as the Mayor of Pirque, Jaime Escudero. During the tour, the Pan American Torch moved through the various facilities of Pirque, as well as the legendary Casillero del Diablo, to then continue the tour in other communes of Santiago.

“For us it is a pride and a pleasure to have had the opportunity to receive the Pan American Torch in the Pirque Tourist Center, demonstrating how an iconic Chilean brand like Casillero del Diablo is present in Santiago 2023, showing the brand’s commitment to major sporting events,” said Stefano Celle, Brand Manager of Casillero del Diablo.

The Pan American fire was lit in a ceremony at the Pyramids of Teotihuacan in Mexico at the end of September, and was flown to Chile to begin its journey. The XIX Pan American Games took place from October 20 to November 5 and the VII Parapan American Games will take place from November 17 to November 26.
