Cindy DeVries named a 2020 Wine Industry Leader
The North American publication Wine Business Monthly included Fetzer Vineyards Chief Operating Officer among the 50 most influential people and drivers of change in the wine industry.
As is tradition, the North American medium Wine Business Monthly – a leader in publications on the industry in its region – published the list “Leaders in the Wine Industry” in which they highlight 50 women and men who play an influential and positive role in the world of wine, constantly contributing to the proper functioning of the industry as well as to the consumption of wine by consumers.
On this occasion, the media highlighted Cindy DeVries, Fetzer Vineyards Chief Operating Officer, as a 2020 Wine Industry Leader, calling her a “champion of Sustainability”: “[Cindy DeVries] is responsible for the daily operations of a winery that has with the B Corp certification, in addition to ensuring that sustainability objectives are met in water consumption, energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, waste management, supply chain and impact assessment B. It is responsible for also to watch over environmental and social impact policies, locally and globally, even outside of their official functions,” Wine Business Monthly explained in its October publication.
