Concha y Toro is chosen “2019 Great Chilean Brand”

“Great Brands/Hall of Fame”, a select group that Concha y Toro has been a member since 2011, is a distinction of the highest level in recognition of companies. Those who manage to enter this group are brands that have achieved a prominent and sustained track record of success and leadership in their respective markets, as a result of a systematic application of marketing concepts and techniques.

Since 2006, a new distinction has been added: “Great Chilean Brand”, due to its relevance abroad. It mainly stands out for brands that have internationalised and made themselves known in several countries, acquiring notoriety and relevance in these markets, obtaining sustained international recognition in their respective categories.

A Nomination Committee, composed by Marketing Managers in exercise of the major brands that are part of Hall of Fame, has selected Concha y Toro this year as the winner of this category.

‘Viña Concha y Toro has been building and positioning the Concha y Toro brand on the national and external markets through a strategy based on two pillars: The quality of its wines and an export orientation. From 2000, the aim is to position the brand globally with the development of a complete wine portfolio, where the brand Concha y Toro endorses and enhances the development of sub brands. The aim is now to turn the brand into a brand with a strong premium focus and oriented to the consumer, and this recognition will strengthen efforts in this direction,’ said Isabel Guilisasti, Marketing Manager of Concha y Toro.
