Spanish magazine includes the Centro del Vino and Bodega 1883 among the best culinary experiences in the world
Catas de Arte highlighted its 37 best culinary experiences worldwide, distinguishing international offerings that combine gastronomic excellence, technical rigor, aesthetics, and a solid contemporary cultural perspective.
Curated by its director, writer and food critic Beto Navarro, the commemorative 12th-anniversary edition of the prestigious digital magazine Catas de Arte—in an article titled “An Artistic View of Gastronomy 2025”—brings together experiences that embody the vanguard of contemporary cuisine, understood not only in terms of flavor, but also in terms of storytelling, territorial identity, hospitality, and the virtuous intersection between gastronomy and the world of wine.
Both the Centro del Vino Concha y Toro and its restaurant, Bodega 1883, were recognized in the “Global Prestige” category. In the case of the Wine Center, the publication highlighted its excellence in wine tourism and design, emphasizing a concept that combines modernity, hospitality, and a celebration of art and wine culture.
For its part, the Bodega 1883 restaurant, under the direction of chefs Tomás Saldivia and Ismael Lastra, was praised for its hospitality and reinterpretation of Chilean cuisine, solidifying a high-level gastronomic offering deeply connected to the land.
This recognition reaffirms the Concha y Toro Wine Center as a benchmark for comprehensive wine tourism experiences, where wine, gastronomy, heritage, culture, and innovation engage in a coherent and profound dialogue. It also positions Bodega 1883 as a restaurant that showcases local products and Chilean culinary identity from a contemporary perspective, projecting the country onto the international stage through its cuisine.
