Viña Concha y Toro reports higher third-quarter profit and forecasts higher sales in 2027

The company updated its revenue projections, expecting a rebound in 2027 of between 1.9% and 4.7%.

Viña Concha y Toro, the world’s third-largest player in the wine industry, reported a sequential improvement in sales in the third quarter compared to the first half of the year, with sales stabilizing at levels similar to those recorded in the same period last year. This allows the company to forecast sales growth for next year.

Between July and September, consolidated sales totaled CLP$245,612 million, down 2.2% from the previous year. This variation reflects the appreciation of the Chilean peso against the main currencies in which the company conducts sales and a highly competitive environment in the United Kingdom—factors that were partially offset by strong performance in other markets and the successful completion of the integration of Maison Mirabeau in France. In terms of net income, the company posted a 2.6% increase.

Among the highlights of the quarter was the growth in sales in the United States, which reflects the normalization of operations as the distributor transition nears completion. Likewise, the Chilean domestic market posted a 1.0% increase in sales compared to the third quarter of the previous year, gaining market share. Positive results were also seen across much of Latin America, including Brazil and Mexico.

“This result reflects the strength of having a diversified portfolio, which allows us to adapt to a changing global environment—one currently marked by lower consumer purchasing power. At the same time, it confirms the robustness of our business model and global scale, which enable us to respond nimbly to market dynamics,” said Eduardo Guilisasti, CEO of Viña Concha y Toro.

“The company’s operational efficiency and digital transformation plan remains in full swing, which, together with the strength of our commercial strategy, allows us to project a sales rebound in 2027 of between 1.9% and 4.7%, while by 2030 we anticipate a CAGR of between 1.6% and 3%,” concluded Guilisasti.
