Viña Concha y Toro was present at Vinexpo Hong Kong 2018
Once again, the company was part of Vinexpo Hong Kong, one of the most important wine and spirits events in Asia and the world. On the occasion, the three productive origins of the winery were highlighted: Chile, Argentina and the United States. It was also an opportunity to publicize the new corporate strategy that will renew its focus on consumers.
With presence in more than 140 countries, 14 commercial offices and three productive origins, Viña Concha y Toro is South America´s single largest exporter of fine wines. This made the winery´s stand a mandatory stop for visitors who, among distributors, suppliers, customers and specialized press, were able to enjoy the products that Viña Concha y Toro presented at Vinexpo Hong Kong 2018.
This edition of the fair also allowed communicating the news of Viña Concha y Toro for 2018, like its new corporate structure, with a strategy focused on the consumer and with an emphasis on the premium wine portfolio. Through these changes, the winery is expected to face the new challenges of the industry, betting on innovation and focusing on satisfying the growing expectations of consumers in quality trends.
Eduardo Guilisasti, CEO of Concha y Toro, said on the occasion: “Concha y Toro’s passion for winemaking dates back more than 135 years, when the company’s first vines were planted in Chile’s Maipo terroir. Today, we remain committed to sharing the art of winemaking with consumers around the globe – and this is an exciting moment to bring new innovation to the fore, to better serve Asia’s new generation of wine lovers.”
The fair also served as a platform to enjoy the diverse portfolio of brands of the winery, which highlighted the diversity of its productive origins: Chile, Argentina and the United States. Concha y Toro is committed to crafting the best possible wines that express the unique characteristics of their origins. During the fair, the winery also celebrated the 30 years of existence of its icon wine: Don Melchor.
To round up the these three days, an exclusive meal was hosted, with a panoramic view of the city of Hong Kong, where guests could taste wines from the wide portfolio of the winery, designed to meet the growing expectations of its consumers. One aspect that predominated in the day´s speeches was the company’s emphasis on excellence and innovation, ranging from research for a more competitive industry, to sustainability initiatives and the development of new products.
