Viña Concha y Toro is the most sustainable winery in the world according to Dow Jones Sustainability Yearbook 2025

The company consolidates its position as a global leader in sustainability, being the only winery in the wine industry included in this prestigious ranking.

Viña Concha y Toro has reached a historic milestone by being recognized as a Yearbook Member in the Beverage category of the Sustainability Yearbook 2025, published by S&P Global Sustainable1. This recognition positions Viña Concha y Toro as the most sustainable company globally in the wine industry, standing out as the only company in this sector included in this exclusive ranking that evaluates the sustainability performance of thousands of companies worldwide.

This achievement reinforces Viña Concha y Toro’s leadership in sustainability within the beverage industry, highlighting its commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) best practices. Inclusion in the Sustainability Yearbook validates the company’s continuous effort in the integration of sustainable practices and transparent management of its performance, consolidating its reputation as a global benchmark. This recognition also strengthens the confidence of investors, customers and stakeholders, supporting the winery’s commitment to the transition to a more sustainable and resilient economy, projecting its impact internationally.

The Sustainability Yearbook, published annually by S&P Global Sustainable1, is one of the most prestigious global sustainability awards. This report identifies companies that stand out for their solid integration of ESG criteria into their strategies and operations. Only 10% of the companies evaluated manage to be included, making it an exclusive and highly prestigious award, reserved for those who lead in sustainable performance.

S&P Global evaluates thousands of companies through its Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), whose top performers make up the Dow Jones Sustainability Index family of indices. To be included in the Sustainability Yearbook, companies must rank in the top 15% of their sector in sustainability performance. In 2025, 7,690 companies were analyzed, but only 780 made it into the ranking. In the Beverage category, of the 74 companies evaluated in the CSA, only 11 were selected for the Sustainability Yearbook 2025, including Viña Concha y Toro, reaffirming its undisputed leadership in sustainability within the wine industry.

This recognition not only celebrates Viña Concha y Toro’s efforts to harmonize wine production with environmental protection but also inspires the industry to move towards more responsible and resilient practices. The winery, with its innovative approach to sustainability, including native forest conservation, emissions reduction and community engagement, continues to lead the way to a greener and more balanced future.
