Viña Concha y Toro maintains partnership with Fundación Choshuenco
We invite you to learn more about the efforts of the company and Fundación Educacional Choshuenco to support early education in the framework of International Education Day.
Since 2022, Viña Concha y Toro has financed the program implemented by the Choshuenco Educational Foundation, which seeks to provide tools to families and professionals of kindergartens in communities where the company is located.
Until 2024, 1,500 children and their families from 24 kindergartens in Pirque, Chimbarongo and Molina, communities where the company is present in the Metropolitan, O’Higgins and Maule regions, respectively, benefited each year.
In 2024, 250 teachers were trained, and 23 Family Centers were set up, a space in each kindergarten where the foundation’s learning methodology is applied, involving both the school team and the families, with the provision of materials and ongoing training. The materials include books for the kindergarten and middle school levels, didactic material, a reading corner and a space for working with families.
In addition, 24 libraries were set up, one in each establishment, totaling 618 books.
Signing of the Puente Alto Agreement
In 2024, another important step was taken in the plan to support the communities where the company is present. This is because the agreement between the Municipality of Puente Alto, Viña Concha y Toro and Fundación Choshuenco was signed, which will more than double the impact achieved so far. As a result of this agreement, as of 2025, 2,300 children will benefit from this program. Thus, a total of 3,800 minors will be positively impacted by this benefit in 2025.
