The first White Malbec in the world presents its new vintage

This innovative Malbec became a commercial success in a few years in the most important Argentine wine markets.

Trivento White Malbec began as a project with a social purpose, that is, to raise funds to provide scholarships through the Student Scholarship Fund (FonBec), and in a few years it has become one of the winery’s most successful wines.

Maximiliano Ortiz, Winemaker of the winery’s Reserve line and responsible for the creation of the novel “blanc de noir”, has adjusted an innovative winemaking technique that begins with a gentle crush, followed by immediate destemming and pressing. “From the first vintage we understood that early harvesting was key. For 2022 we start at the end of January, thirty days earlier than a conventional Malbec,” emphasizes Ortiz.

Trivento White Malbec 2022 stands out for its fascinating bright silver color and amazing freshness. The nose displays notes of green apple, lychee and a tropical profile reminiscent of pineapples.

This wine is not only innovative for its winemaking method, but also for the positive impact it generates in the Argentine educational community. It raises funds that finance 50 annual scholarships for students from all over Argentina, articulated through the FonBec foundation.

White Malbec is in full expansion and with a projection for the next few years that already exceeds one million bottles. To accompany this growth, a global digital campaign was launched, filmed entirely in the beautiful landscapes of Mendoza, reaching mainly White Malbec’s markets: England, Ireland, Belgium, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Argentina, Peru and recently Colombia.
