Viña Concha y Toro participates in “Great Wines of the World New York”

Viña Concha y Toro, together with the Puente Alto D.O.: Don Melchor and Marques Heritage and the Argentine subsidiary, Bodega Trivento, was part of the renowned event organized by wine critic James Suckling in New York.

The event, which is held every year, brought together more than 2,000 wine lovers and 300 wineries from around the world who were able to present their wines, which obtained 92+ points.

In this new version Viña Concha y Toro participated with the icon Don Melchor 2020, one of Concha y Toro’s latest innovations, Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2020 and three labels from the Argentine subsidiary: Eolo Malbec 2019, Golden Reserve 2019 and Maximum Red Blend 2019.

Distinguished by the critics with an extraordinary 97 points, Don Melchor 2020 was one of the wines from important wine regions around the world that were presented to the more than 2,000 wine lovers who participated in the tasting rounds on June 15 and 16 at The Altman Building.

Marques de Casa Concha Heritage, which seeks to honor the legacy of Concha y Toro and is a great exponent of the Puente Alto appellation, was also part of a new edition of James Suckling’s Great Wines of the World held in New York.

On this occasion, the 2020 vintage was presented by Eduardo Hidalgo, New York District Sales Manager Viña Concha y Toro USA, who noted: “It was a great opportunity to launch in the US market this new wine that joins Concha y Toro’s Fine Wines portfolio, which reflects and expresses all the tradition and history of a winery with more than 140 years of history”.

Trivento’s Eolo Malbec 2019, Golden Reserve 2019 and Maximum Red Blend 2019 were presented by Maximiliano Ortiz, Winemaker of Premium Wines at Trivento Winery, and Juan José Gil, Trivento Brand Manager responsible for the US market.
