Fetzer Vineyards Receives “Outstanding” B Corp Score
The California subsidiary of Viña Concha y Toro is celebrating its third re-certification and its significant increase in 30+ points in comparison to its last score.
Fetzer Vineyards, California subsidiary of the company, is the largest Certified B Corp winery in the U.S. and has been a Certified B Corp since 2015. B Corps are required to continuously improve social and environmental responsibility, and these efforts are measured every three years.
Following completion of its latest assessment, Fetzer Vineyards was awarded a new score of 130.1—an increase of more than 30 points over its prior score —placing the company among global B Corps ranked in the “Outstanding” category.
“We reached this milestone as a team by embracing ways to care for our communities, planet and each other,” said Giancarlo Bianchetti, CEO of Fetzer Vineyards. “I am grateful to everyone at Fetzer Vineyards for their dedication and hard work. I would also like to specifically thank Jess Baum, director of regenerative development, for her leadership in the B Corp recertification process that led to these tremendous results. Thanks also to our company’s new B Corp-focused employee engagement team, the B Squad, who are working hard to ensure our B Corp values are brought to life at Fetzer Vineyards.”
