CRI holds a conference on “Research and Innovation linked to industry”

In collaboration with Universidad de Talca, the activity sought to reflect on how to strengthen the links between the academy and the productive sector.

Viña Concha y Toro´s Center for Research and Innovation (CRI), in collaboration with the Universidad de Talca, held a conference entitled “Research and Innovation linked to Industry”. The purpose of the event was to reflect on how to strengthen the links between the academy and the productive sector through various presentations, poster presentations, and a panel discussion,

On behalf of the CRI, the block “University-Industry Relations: A vision from the productive sector” was presented by Álvaro González, Director of the CRI; Felipe Gainza, CRI Doctoral Thesis Tutor; and Daniela Araya, Doctoral Thesis Tutor at the Universidad de Talca. The participants talked about the experience of the linkage with the university: positive aspects, aspects to improve and challenges.

Also in attendance were important authorities such as Ariela Vergara Jaque, Vice Rector for Innovation at Universidad de Talca; Paulina Campos, Regional Director of Corfo; and Mario Ramírez, from the Maule Regional Government’s Division of Productive Development and Industry.
