Fetzer Vineyards Joins Leading Businesses in Calling for U.S. Action on Climate Change

The California subsidiary of Viña Concha y Toro is participating in the #Call4ClimateNOW Campaign, which urges grassroots climate advocacy in the United States.

Coinciding with Climate Week in the U.S. which took place in late september, Fetzer Vineyards announced its participation in the #Call4ClimateNOW campaign that encourages U.S.-based colleagues, customers and community members to call their legislators and advocate for immediate climate action. More than 160 leading businesses and organizations, including B Lab and The Climate Collaborative, are participating in the campaign.

It should be noted that last year Fetzer Vineyards declared a climate emergency, signaling an era of bold climate action for the company. “We have a moral responsibility as a business to take swift action on the climate crisis,” said Giancarlo Bianchetti, CEO of Fetzer Vineyards. Campaigns like #Call4ClimateActionNOW allows Fetzer Vineyards to engage a broad network of stakeholders to extend positive impact far beyond its doors.

To drive participation in the campaign, Fetzer Vineyards created a video featuring Jess Baum, Director of Regenerative Development & Sustainability, and Joseph Brinkley, Director of Regenerative Farming, to highlight how and why it is participating. Our U.S.-based colleagues are encouraged to get involved and can learn more at https://www.call4climatenow.com/.
