Viña Concha y Toro received important awards in Sustainability

The company was recognized by two international organizations, ALAS20 and CDP (Climate Change and Water), for its sustainable practices.

Viña Concha y Toro was recently recognized for its actions in sustainability matters in the social, economic and governance areas. The company received recognition from two international organizations whose focus is to evaluate the efforts of companies in various productive sectors, generating a scale that allows comparability at a global level.

Viña Concha y Toro achieved two awards in the 2022 ranking. The first is Climate Change, where the company was placed in the “Leadership” category, standing out for its supply chain management and for having achieved significant reductions in CO2 emissions. The second category was Water, in which the company was recognized in the same “Leadership” category, for the actions implemented in our fields and the measures that have been incorporated to reduce water resources, where the action of the Agricultural Division has been key.

CDP is an organization that evaluates, but also seeks to provide feedback to responsible investors.

ALAS20 – Sustainable Leaders Agenda

The Sustainable Leaders Agenda, ALAS20, is the only Latin American initiative that evaluates, rates and comprehensively recognizes excellence in the public disclosure of information on sustainable development practices, corporate governance, and responsible investments of companies and investors in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico and Peru.

In the 2022 ranking, Viña Concha y Toro was ranked second in the “Sustainability” category in Chile, thanks to the measures presented by the company and its excellence in public disclosure of information on best practices in sustainable development.
