Viña Concha y Toro will work with 30 packaging suppliers to reduce CO2 emissions

Through the Suppliers SBT 2025 program, the company will strengthen its goal of eliminating 12,000 tCO2eq from the supply chain.

A few days after the International Day for the Reduction of CO2 Emissions, a key date for raising awareness and encouraging global decisions to take care of our planet and its people, Viña Concha y Toro, expressed the challenge to reduce its impacts throughout its entire value chain.

Through specific actions, the company aims to generate positive impacts with each glass of wine that it places in their consumers’ hands.

Through our Suppliers SBT 2025 program, Viña Concha y Toro will strengthen its goal of eliminating 12,000 tCO2eq from the supply chain through a work model implemented with 30 packaging suppliers using Science Based Targets (SBT) methodology.

In addition, its Sustainability Strategy has set the goal of reducing its total CO2 emissions by 35% in 2025 (compared to 2017) and 55% in 2030. In 2019, the company also announced its commitment to achieve zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
